Privacy notice

A clear view of the information Fieldiz handles, why it is needed, and the choices available to Company owners.
Beta draft for legal reviewThis plain-language draft reflects the current product behavior. It must be approved with the final legal entity, address, and jurisdiction before paid public launch.

1. Scope

Fieldiz is a business operations platform for U.S. field-service companies. This notice covers the Fieldiz website, application, API, support interactions, and connected service providers. A Fieldiz customer Company controls the customer, lead, employee, and job data it enters into its workspace.

2. Information handled

  • Account and Company details, including names, business contact information, team roles, service settings, and authentication activity.
  • Operational records such as leads, customers, contacts, service addresses, notes, jobs, appointments, estimates, invoices, expenses, and communications.
  • Payment and subscription metadata received from Stripe. Fieldiz does not collect or store raw card numbers.
  • Technical and support data such as request identifiers, audit events, delivery results, browser information submitted with beta feedback, and security logs.
  • Optional website and product usage events, such as the page visited, when a visitor chooses to allow analytics. Fieldiz does not intentionally include Company customer records, form contents, or URL query values in these events.

3. How information is used

Information is used to provide and secure the service, route leads, coordinate field work, produce business documents, deliver requested messages, process subscription and customer payments, provide support, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and improve the product. Fieldiz should collect only the information needed for these purposes.

4. Service providers and connected tools

Fieldiz may send limited information to hosting and infrastructure providers and, when configured by an authorized user, to Stripe, SMTP or Postmark email services, Twilio, Meta, Google, or another connected lead source. Each provider handles information under its own terms. Fieldiz does not sell personal information or use Company customer records for third-party advertising.

5. Retention, export, and deletion

Company records are retained while a workspace is active and as reasonably needed for security, billing, dispute handling, backup recovery, and legal obligations. A Company owner can download a structured data export and can start a deletion request from Account settings. Deletion requests enter a 30-day review window that can be cancelled before processing. A final written backup retention schedule must be approved before public launch.

6. Security

Fieldiz uses tenant-scoped authorization, secure session cookies, encryption for stored provider credentials, request rate limits, signed provider webhooks, audit trails, and production backup verification. No internet service can promise absolute security, and the security program will continue to evolve with the product.

7. Choices and requests

Company owners can correct Company details, control team access, revoke API credentials, export Company records, and request deletion inside Fieldiz. Other individuals should first contact the Company that collected their information. Privacy questions can be sent to admin@fieldiz.com.

Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager stays off until a visitor chooses “Allow analytics.” The choice is stored in that browser. Visitors can reset it by clearing Fieldiz site data; a dedicated preference control will be added before public launch. Sensitive booking and shared-document routes are excluded from application analytics.

8. Children and changes

Fieldiz is a business product and is not directed to children under 13. Material changes to the final notice should be announced in the product or by email and reflected by a new effective date.
